In the face of accelerating competition, Peugeot recognised they needed to enhance their social media visibility and profitability – fast. That’s why they tasked our team at Performics @ Starcom to boost their social engagement and followership. The objectives were ambitious, but clear: beat the automotive industry’s ad recall benchmark and smash the engagement rate, surpassing the total configurations seen in the previous quarter.

Enter the Peugeot Photography Masterclass, an exciting experiential campaign designed for auto and photography aficionados, offering expert advice on how to capture the best car photos during their travels. By aligning the Masterclasses with a route through key UK cities and culminating at our newly inaugurated Outernet space, we ensured maximum visibility for Peugeot's new flagship 408 model and our campaign. Our seamless collaboration with creative partner, Uncovered, was instrumental in crafting a range of assets providing tips on capturing the perfect car photo. Local engagement was driven through content run within a 20km radius of each event location, fostering a rich source of organic, user-generated posts. The campaign was a huge success, exceeding all our objectives and reaffirming Peugeot's position in the social media landscape.
