In 2023 MG OMD and Nissan United identified key elements of Nissan UK's lead generation activity that needed urgent attention. A lack of standardisation between different lead sources across affiliate, Amazon and Meta, was causing a lack of quality control and reliability in leads delivered to the dealerships, causing dealers to lose faith. Collaboratively, Nissan United, MG OMD and TLA created an industry-first solution to enforce transparency and deliver contactable, active leads into Nissan's dealerships. The strategy provided an extensive validation process by piping and deduping all leads through the same management platform, which led to a record-high contact rate of 97% of all leads sent to dealerships – which translated into increased car sales of 126% YoY for Nissan.
